John Kastanek

This prayer book was given to John Kastanek by his grandmother. It was published in south Bohemian town called Jindřichův Hradec.

František Palacký, the author of "The History of the Czech Nation in Bohemia and Moravia", was a Czech historian and politician and one of the leading figure of the Czech National Revival. He is also called "Father of the Nation".
