Inspection Sheet from Brandenburg Ship

Title

Inspection Sheet from Brandenburg Ship

Description

Inspection and vaccination sheets given to each family member of the Newcomb family when they traveled in the United States. The family left Austria on October 30, 1903 and came to Baltimore. The ship's name was Brandenburg and it left from the port of Bremen. Each hole punched in the card stands for their daily checkup, and on the back there are records that each individual was vaccinated the day before departure. Barbara Newcomb's grandmother, grandfather, aunts, and uncles boarded the ship and came to the United States.
