Lots of the cemetery were sold to total a balance of $8.90 on September 23, 1907, all of which was paid to T.J. Waymire for cleaning the cemetery. On July, 30 1908, $1.10 was paid to T.J. Murphy for cleaning the cemetery. The last date recorded on the report was September 10, 1908, the balance on hand was $10.90, $10.00 was paid to G. The meeting was called to order by N.H. Moore and seconded by Harvey Waymire. G.S. Staley was elected chairman of the association. It was moved to elect 3 trustees to look after the cemetery for the duration of 3 years. G.S. Staley was chosen to serve as a trustee for 1 year, A.W. Waymire was chosen to serve as a trustee for 2 years, and Harvey Waymire was chosen to serve 3 years. A.W. Waymire was chosen to serve as treasurer for 2 years. It was decided that all persons buried in the Waymire Cemetery should pay in to the treasurer $2.00. The minutes were written by the clerk A.W. Waymire. The cemetery was established in 1879 by Irish families from Massachusetts in Western, Nebraska. The earliest burial dates back to 1871. The 2.47 acre cemetery records were passed down to Charles Harris who was the son of a Waymire daughter in 1950. Harris had married the cousin of Tom Murphy's father. When Harris died, the records were passed down to Murphy's cousin Lillian Harris who died in 1959. Murphy's father was given the records. He would mow the burial plots of his grandparents. The records remained with him until his death in 1980 when they would be put in Murphy's mother's basement until 1998 with her death. There are no records of who is buried in the cemetery, but there are records of who bought the plots.
