Original paper certificate for Jimmy Ray White's completion of the U.S. Air Force Traffic Safety Course in 1969 at the Chanute Technical Training Center at the now decommissioned Air Force Base in Champaign County, Illinois. Jimmy, originally from Kearney, Nebraska, served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was father to Andy White. Jimmy passed away in 2004, after extensive chemotherapy and a long illness related to Agent Orange Gas Poisoning. The Chanute Air Force Base operated from 1917 to 1988.

Black and white photograph of the interior of the Crystal Ballroom which was located inside the Hotel Fort Kearney (a.k.a. Fort Kearney Hotel). The hotel began construction in 1917 and opened to for business on October 11, 1927. It stood on the corner of First Ave. and 21st Street in downtown Kearney until 1973. This photograph was taken c. late 1950s or early 1960s. The donor stated that it looks like a gathering for DECA Week (based on the posters in the background) which is held every year April 1st through the 7th in Nebraska since 1920.
