Fall 2011 History Harvest - Great Plains Black History Museum
The Great Plains Black History Museum was in the process of renovating and salvaging items from the building that had fallen into disrepair. New management had moved many of the items into a metal storage container to save them from the elements. The History Harvest students took a trip (what day?) to aid in the inventorying and renovation of some of the items.

Fall 2011 History Harvest - History Harvest Event
The History Harvest was held at Love's Jazz and Art Center on October 22, 2011. A number of North Omaha institutions supported program and helped publicize or otherwise contribute to the program, including the Great Plains Black History Museum, Big Mama's Kitchen, and the Malcolm X Foundation.
The eight History Harvest students and Professor Patrick Jones were joined by a number of University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate students and faculty members. During the Harvest, students met the North Omahans, spoke with them about their items and their history, photographed the items, and recorded an oral history.
