Late 19th Century Scrapbook Album

This large scrapbook-type album is but one incarnation of the 19th century album tradition, with examples to be found in Britain, Russia, and America. With richly decorated maroon and gold cover with artfully arranged pictures, calling cards and small advertisements inside it is a important family history and popular culture artifact.
