]]>Ms Garey's "Grossmutters" doll chest has been in her father's family for generations until his aunt gave it away to a neighbor's girl in Culbertson, Nebraska right before death. When Ms Garey's father came from Germany in the early 1900s to live with his aunt and uncle he found that his aunt is dead and his uncle took all his possessions and went back to his homeland. The only thing left was the "Grossmutters" doll chest with the girl Ms Garey's father eventually married.
