Moving to America in 1870

Letters, bank records and other papers that document the family of Bill Dean's second great grandparents Gottlieb Schuetz and Anna Parli's immigration to America in the spring of 1870. The documents include the remnants of the travel agreement, bank statement and money order, and several letters from Switzerland they either took with them among their papers or received in America.
